What we store
Antidote stores the notes you create, along with basic information needed to run the app, such as timestamps, note types, and account-related metadata.
Your notes are transmitted securely and stored in encrypted form. This means they are not stored as readable text in the database.
How your notes are protected
Antidote uses encryption to protect the contents of your notes while they are being transmitted and while they are stored.
Encryption keys are managed separately from note content, so notes are not readable directly from the database or admin dashboard. This setup is designed to prevent casual, accidental, or routine access to the contents of your notes.
How AI is used
Antidote uses AI to help turn your captures into insights, including themes and retrospective prompts.
To provide these features, parts of your notes may be processed by selected AI providers: OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and Voyage AI. These providers may be used for tasks such as transcription, embeddings, summarization, and insight generation.
Model training is turned off for every AI provider Antidote uses. Your notes are not used to train AI models.
Some AI providers may temporarily retain API requests for safety, security, or abuse-monitoring purposes, according to their own policies. This is separate from model training.
What we do not do
